Low Food Miles & Waste
Going way beyond good taste, Zing also rocks at low-no waste.
Menus are designed to utilise the entire food product. Many canapes are entirely edible, right down to the flowers. Our local suppliers and farmers grow responsibly, tread lightly, scrutinise & minimise packaging.
We serve you best with sturdy biodegradable or compostable plates/cutlery, but only when we must.
Since we’re talking rubbish, if you’re looking for a caterer that takes your crap; look no further!
We gather your event waste for hungry, local compost, donating it to One Meal, for local school initiatives and for nourishing Sydney’s Botanical Gardens.
Our experience in accurate portioning means that excess food is rare. If however there is ever anything to spare, we offer leftovers to you or we invite you to partner with Local Kind (with us forwarding your food donation to underprivileged locals in need).​​
